Everything You Should Know About the CDC Bridge Access Program

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Bridge Access Program provides no-cost vaccines to adults. All uninsured adults are eligible for this program. If you have insurance, but COVID-19 vaccines are not covered, you are also eligible. Adults who are covered by private health insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid can access COVID-19 vaccines at no cost through their medical provider. 

 You can access free COVID-19 vaccines through the Bridge Access Program at many locations:

• Local healthcare providers, including state and local health departments 
• Federally supported health centers 
• Retail pharmacy chains, such as Walgreens and CVS 

You can use the Vaccine Finder on Vaccines.gov to quickly find a vaccine at a participating Bridge Access Program location. To do this, choose to only show locations with “Bridge Access Program Participant”, on the results screen as pictured below.
