Keep your health coverage

AHCCCS, or the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System, is Arizona's Medicaid program that provides health care coverage to individuals and families with limited incomes. AHCCCS offers a range of healthcare services, including doctor visits, hospitalization, prescription drugs, behavioral health, KidsCare, and long-term care. The program has been instrumental in increasing healthcare access for low-income individuals in the state.

With the public health emergency ends, AHCCCS has faced new challenges in ensuring that people receive the care they need. However, the program is still available to eligible individuals, and it's important for them to update their information to make sure they continue to receive benefits. Beginning April 1, AHCCCS will resume its regular renewal process for determining eligibility for all members. Individuals need to ensure that their mailing address, email address, and telephone numbers are up to date. Individuals are encouraged to update their information online through the AHCCCS website, by phone at 1-855-432-7587, or by visiting their local office. Use this tool to find a local office near you!
